Introducing our SlimX 2.0mm Carbon Topdeck for Mugen MTC3
Our SlimX topdecks off superior flex adjustability to your MTC3, Now you can tune with both screws and cut tabs in the topdeck, which has become a staple in touring car engineering.
This additional flex adjustment can be used to finely tune the balance of the car on both front of the car. These optional topdecks will fit both front and rear of the chassis.
This 2.0mm Fiberglass topdeck utilises G10 FRP Material which offers a more progressive and dampened flex characteristic, whilst being slightly softer than it's carbon fibre counterpart. This is a great mid range option between the 2.0mm Carbon and 1.6mm Carbon Topdecks.
Stiffer rear: Increased rear traction especially mid corner and on power. Normally better for big flowing tracks.
Softer rear: Increase rotation in all stages of the corner. Normally better for tight technical tracks.
Stiffer front: Increased initial steering and response. More steering under high speed and on power.
Softer front: Improved driveability, with more overall steering at low speed.
The topdecks include 110 degree countersunk screws for the body stopper. We used 110 degree screws as this leaves more material on the topdeck improving the rigidity and durability.
